Many people will try something new once, but without a good reason, most will not go back. We know this is true for kids, but did you know that it is true for adults too? We believe here at the CORE that relationships are vital, and good relationships take time. That’s why we know that just seeing and caring for each other on Sundays is not enough. Our Relationship/Care ministry is here to help you get plugged into the life of the Church and into the CORE Family.

“All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lord’s Supper), and to prayer. A deep sense of awe came over them all, and the apostles performed many miraculous signs and wonders. And all the believers met together in one place and shared everything they had. They sold their property and possessions and shared the money with those in need. They worshiped together at the Temple each day, met in homes for the Lord’s Supper, and shared their meals with great joy and generosity— all the while praising God and enjoying the goodwill of all the people. And each day the Lord added to their fellowship those who were being saved.”

(Acts 2:42-47)

Why It’s Important

At the heart of the Christian life is relationships. God is the originator of relationships and, therefore, He does not intend for us to simply attend church, but to BE the Church. Here at the CORE Christian Community, that means we are a family.

How does it happen?

In a church our size you can’t know everyone, but you must know some people really well. The early Church cared for each other in small familial groups, and we seek to do the same thing. We don’t know with whom or how God will bring relationships into your life here at the CORE, but we are committed to making sure you have opportunities to find out through corporate worship services, events, LifeGroups, ABCs, and many other points of connection.
